• Soft and light material
• Density 2.5 times less than the rooster!
• Strong, resistant fibers.
• Unlike many materials (rooster hackle for example), CDC feathers can be cut without altering their properties in any way
• Semi-translucent material: CDC flies are less opaque than other artificial flies mounted with materials that do not let light through.
• Highly aerodynamic material. Thanks to its great flexibility, the CDC deforms during the cast, returning to its original shape when landing. It thus acts like a parachute, making landings more delicate, without twisting the nylon tip.
• Highly hydrodynamic material: underwater as in the air, the CDC deforms.
• Each filament vibrates and gives a pulsating fly, which "lives" and comes to life in the slightest current of air or water.
• The flexibility of the CDC allows a less rapid rejection of the fly when the fish attacks, an important point in particular for nymph and streamer fishing.
